So who are we and how did we get here to The Growth Project?

Calgary’s business owners coming together to support, grown and get amazing education to take their business to the next level! We wanted to have a group where Calgary’s Business owners, Calgary’s Entrepreneurs, Managers or Teams or people who are wanting to do a Start up can come and thrive!

Well, the idea was born by Rebecca, a serial entrepreneur. I know that building a business and being a business leader can be lonely and daunting work. Between the day to day, growth and hiccups that come along the way, I felt there needed to be a space to encourage us, develop skills, support each other and grow together!

We educated 4 times a year!! Getting strong business leaders and skilled teachers in to give us practical skills to take away from an ever changing business playing field.

Here’s a bit of background on the founder Rebecca:

From a young age Rebecca wanted to bring people together. Like as a child, she solely arranged play dates (parents were consulted after the fact) and she planned her birthday parties, complete with a large flip board of clearly outlined and scheduled activities that were to be expected from the event. And now as an adult, she has been helping people achieve their real estate goals for over 13 years. (In between she also ran a successful event management company. However, she wouldn’t recommend two full-time occupations for long periods of time.) Working with her family in Calgary’s real estate market is something she loves and is committed to building, but the desire to plan events still lingers.

Rebecca has always been the happiest when spending time with others, learning, building relationships, growing, laughing and recognizing the unique nature of each person are what she treasures most. Whether that be getting to know individuals and establishing great synergy or bringing individuals together and watching the enjoyment that connection provides (accompanied with great food, good music, or yummy drinks).. its truly her passion!
